To ensure that Threema can run in the background, please follow these steps:

Go to the overview of all open apps (swipe up from the bottom, or tap on “Recent apps”), look for Threema, and long-press on the corresponding window. Click on the “Lock” button. This prevents the app from being stopped in the
background.
- Go to the system settings and enter “Battery Manager” in the search bar. Tap on “Use Battery Manager” and deactive the option. Please note: this setting is applied to all apps and not only to Threema.
