On July 8, 2026, Threema GmbH was converted into Threema AG. Previously, the company operated through two legal entities: Threema GmbH and Threema Holding AG. To simplify the corporate structure, these entities were merged into a single company: Threema AG.

This change has no impact on our users. The company’s headquarters will remain in Switzerland. All contracts and obligations of Threema GmbH have been transferred to Threema AG and will remain unchanged.
